With a loan from his father in 1968, the late Robert Masa Sr. started a business in a small one car garage to pursue his passion. He was a true “car guy”, with a talent for repairing electronics and passionate about taking care of his clients. His motto “If we don’t take care of our clients, someone else will”. Now, 50 years later, that motto lives on at this second-generation family owned business. We may have grown from 500 square feet to 50,000, but our founding principles remain the same.
Our people, our process, and our commitment to quality has allowed Techni-Car to become one of the largest and most well-respected Electronic Service Centers in the country. Headquartered just outside of Tampa, FL, we assist hundreds of GM dealerships every day, making sure they receive the highest quality parts on time, every time. Techni-Car was one of the first electronics distribution and refurbishment facilities in the United States to be QS 9000 certified for General Motors. We have the longest tradition of certified quality and delivery anywhere. We have been ISO certified since 1995, currently holding an ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management System Standards.
